I live to groove and I groove to live. I put things into perspective. I'm a passionate person who brings it to life and to my own craft. I'm a creative singer, songwriter, lyricist, trumpeter, DJ, producer, composer, arranger, music aficionado, lover, fun-lovin' (fun to love and fun to be loved by) and last but not least, all around cool guy. I'm a musician for hire and am becomin' a name that is dropped both locally and internationally. Call me Swanky. I'm out here to musically influence the world and to spread love through music.
Open your mind and I'll open your soul...
This joint is pretty low key...my thoughts spill on the canvas. You can use your paintbrush to make use of the colours.
I am the leader of a hip hop/jazz/funk band called The Vibrasonic Sessions
I am 1/2 of The International Incident a.k.a. I² (with Chile's own Max Damage)
I am Octavio Santos (yes, my birth name) when it comes to trumpet work and vocals
I am Swanky when it comes to mic work and rippin' it lyrically
You will find me in many projects...lend me your eardrums.
Those are the CDs in my studio (a slice of it) that I’ve seen in concert (some autographed with ticket stubs) or they are respected not seen live (yet) with autographs. Amongst them is Stevie Wonder (my first concert). Yes, you do see Donkey Kong up above. (at The Groove Cafeteria)
K: What do you feel like having? O: Whatever you want, I’ll take you there. K: Do you feel like congee? O: Sure, let’s go! — That convo was well and good, but we didn’t have congee at this joint, LOL. (at Congee Dynasty 皇朝名粥)
I love my new Dilems that I picked up from @drfabiantai. You know why they’re called such? I think it’s because I’m gonna have a dilemma picking new temples as I currently have navy checkered and red/gray ones. Problem? I’mma be fly though.
Passed by and happened to cool out with Carl (dude was crackin’ foolishness, haha) atop the Square One assembly to commemorate 40 years. I didn’t get the memo about bringing a suit. You know I would. I didn’t really care much about the food or the wine bar (restricted anyway)…I was focused on that white grand piano… (at Square One Shopping Centre)
@drfabiantai and Kathleen were gracious enough to school me on quality lenses using a Hoya SS-10 showing lens distortion called chromatic aberration. Google that. The rainbow you see is that in effect which is bad. My new lenses on the left (that I picked up from Dr. Tai) = good quality. My former lenses on the right = bad quality. (at Dr. Fabian Tai)
